The Creative Process
![]() About The Creative Process The processes involved in creating a promotional film can be broken into three stages: Pre-production, Production and Post-production. To many of people the film industry is a fascinating but complicated world; we aim to simplify the stages of production and keep you as involved as possible through planning, creating and editing. |
Pre-production Pre-production can be one of the hardest parts to the film-making process, however it can also be the most exciting as an idea changes and develops. We offer our clients a free first consultation, where we can explore your needs and ideas and help you understand exactly how our services can benefit your business. Pre-production has an open schedule, as we like to give time to developing the idea and turning it into a solid script and storyboard. Most importantly you will meet the team who will deliver your final product and establish a relationship that will work for you. |
Production The production stage of the filmmaking process is where all the plans, scripts and storyboards come to life. To ensure fantastic results we only use broadcast quality Canon cameras, coupled with professional microphones and lighting. This is an enjoyable part of the process and we are always keen to keep our clients involved, whether as presenter, interviewer or guide. We will also ensure the filming schedule stays on time and to budget. |
Post-production This is the most important part in the filmmaking process as it is where everything is brought together and the full potential of the film is realised. At this stage we take the footage and plans back to the editing suite to create a first draft. In order to keep you as involved as possible, these drafts will be available for your input, before finalising for distribution. Once the film is complete we can distribute the project in a variety of formats that allow for internet viewing or DVD production. |
